The Concept of the Story

BirdHaven is a story that was intially conceptualised in 2014. At first it was created purely as a monster slaying comic, but nowadays it is a story about self-reflection and growth of one's own self no matter how cruel the world might be.

Voxer is a character that encompasses an immense amount of grief and suffering due to having his entire life ripped away purely for being different in a world where being different is commonplace. He has been labelled a monster, while actual monsters are roaming the very world he lives in.

I have wanted to release BirdHaven for a extremely long time. The comic and story have gone through multiple revisions, concepts and even presentation and art style changes. During this process, until recently, I couldn't find the right way to convey a story of this calibre.

But finally, on the 10th of July 2023 the very first chapter of BirdHaven has been launched, so please look forward to the rest! Thank you so much for reading this story that I have finally managed to bring online after many, many years.
